Any one know how to setup dns with this? I added our server to the DNS local database we use windows server for dhcp and allow ssl vpn to handout 10 address's. This router is so close to being able to do what we need just need this last part.
Thanks for your help,
How would a user connect from their iPhone to the Rv325 SSL VPN? Users will want to connect to the VPN when on public WiFi so their internet traffic will be going through the SSL vpn.
It is because SSL makes sure that only those with the proper credentials can only access the LAN behind the Gateway.
Public WIFI is unsafe and by default, they are supposed to allow anyone to use VPN. With VPN with SSL. It is very hard for anyone to sniff your packet traffic.
Problems with Windows 10 and IE11. Can logon. Go to Virtual Passage and click "Connect using virtual passage" get error "Virtual Passage requires IE 5.0 or higher". Change to Compatibility View and click "Connect using virtual passage" and nothing happens. Also note that every time I logon it wants to install add-on "RV Series Routers". As suggested by someone else on this site, I added my static ip as a trusted site. Any other suggestions?
I am following exactly the same steps as the video but I am not able to connect to the gateway. When I try to connect from a remote site, it always shows "This page can't be display" What might be the problem? Thank you in advance!
If you are trying to remote administration, you should never enable, but it is in the firewall settings. If you are talking about VPN, you first need a IP that is a Sticky DHCP given to your modem or use a DNS service that allows you to always connect to your VPN.There is also two modes to the router. One is a Citrix type connection, the other is a PPTP server, which allows you into your LAN from the outside. If you want a true VPN, use Open VPN on a Raspberry Pi.
