Using the iSCSI Target Service on Smart Storage

iSCSI (Internet Small Computer System Interface) is an Internet Protocol (IP) based storage networking standard for data storage facilities. iSCSI can be used to transmit data over local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), or the Internet and can be enable location-independent data storage and retrieval.

 

WIth the iSCSI service, your Smart Storage can be used for storage expansion or as a backup destination for your application servers, such as a database server or mail server.
