Hi,
I've just installed a WVC210 and have experienced several browser crashes, apparently cause by an Exception being thrown in Cisco210Viewer.ocx.
I've attached a screenshot of the callstack in Visual Studio 2008
I'm using I.E. v8.0.7600.16385 with Windows 7 (all latest updates applied).
I haven't been able to find any firmware or client updates on the Cisco site.
Can spmeone please advise how to resolve the issue?
Many thanks.
Andy

Hi Andy,
I haven't seen this issue before. You might try reinstalling the .ocx if you haven't already. You can find help with that at the following page:

It sounds like it may be an issue with the browser. Are you able to maintain a stable connection from a different PC?

Andy,
Did you ever resolve this issue? If so, can you please provide some details?

Hi, mpyhala
The issue appears to be resolved, but the specific action to achieve this is unclear.
Between asking the question and awaiting response, a number of Windows updates had been applied to my machine, and so having subsequently carried out a simple un-install and re-install, it's hard to say if it was the re-install, the Windows updates, or a combination of the two. To further fog the issue, I'm pretty sure my AV software (ESET) would have updated during that period, also.
All I can tell you is it's now working.
I'm sorry I couldn't give more specific advice.
FYI: I've since installed IE9, and it works fine. I've also tested with Google's Chrome and, again, that works OK too.
Regards
