I already posted in "additional communities" but seams wrong communities, so i'll try here.

I set up a rule to allow smpp trafic using ASA5520.

Outbound is working as it should,swedish characteres are deleverid as it should. Having problem with inbound, the server behind Cisco does not receive the swedish characters, they have been deleted.

When i check at my tel operator, they are delivering the text as they should, in Cisco, the text is corrupted and swedish characteres are deleted.

what i can configure to solve this issue ?

Hi,

You should use Oracle or you can use online swedish keyboard for swedish alphabets.

How do you mean use swedish keyboard ?

The user is sending an sms/text message over smpp. When i check my Mblox account. I can see that the message is according to iso-8859 (Latin1) execpt the character "@".

ie: message is: firstname.lastname@company.com

When i check my system behind cisco it's like this:

firstname.lastnamejcompany.com. the character "@" is suddenly "j".

That is my issue.
