Hi,
we are having a Cisco sg 300-28 switch, the only thing I can use at the moment is web interface.
I need to run command lines, but when I tried using the putty.exe(ssh),it does not work.
Can someone give me some idea how to use command lines instead of connecting directly to the console?
Or using telnet or any other tools to connect to configure the switch which is already in the network?
Thanks
Smith.

Hi Smith, if you're using software 1.0.0.27 it does not support the CLI. If you're using anything later, you first need to enable the telnet or ssh access under the security tcp/udp services.

Hi Smith,
By Default telnet, ssh service will not enabled in sg 300 switch.
You have to manually enable telnet service.
Go to getting strated-
Enable, then after you can log through putty. It will Work
