Hi all,
I seem to have a bottleneck with my Linksys poe+ switch, so i am looking at replacing it with the
However, looking at the spec, it seems that it only support POE (af) and does not support POE+ (at)?.
Is this really the case, as i have seen online at various retailers that it is yet the cisco specs says otherwise?

Thanks for any help.

This is from the Data Sheet:
Ports |
10/100/1000 Ethernet, with support for 802.3af PoE, power port for AC adapter or power cord |
There is no mention of PoE+ in the Data Sheet, therefore I can only assume its not supported.
As much as the Cisco Data Sheets may have the odd error, I would rather trust those than a vendor/reseller website.
The Data Sheet also says:
Power over Ethernet (PoE) |
Model Name SF110D-08HP SF110D-16HP SG110D-08HP SG110-16HP SG110-24HP |
Power Dedicated to PoE 32 watts 64 watts 32 watts 64 watts 100 watts |
Number of PoE Ports 4 8 4 8 12 |
64 Watts with 8 ports means a Maximum of 8w per port assuming all 8 ports in use.
My feeling is that PoE+ is not supported based on this.

Hi, yes i ddid wonder.
Do you knowif Cisco do a 16P POE+ switch?
I would like to use POE+ as this will mean my access points (2702) will get full power.
Thanks

Look at the SG300/SG500 range.
Something like the SG300-28PP which gives 180w and supports PoE+
