Cisco Switch 2918 error "Command Authorization Failed" after password recovery.

I bought a switch 2918 on eBay for my home lab. However, I noticed that it was not factory reset and has password set on that. I did my self a password recovery. I follow the procedure from start to the end. Then after the password recovery and boot as requested by the recovery, I try "Configure terminal" it gives me the following error "Command Authorization Failed". Please help. How to work around it.

Any help will be appreciated.

Hello!

You did the password recovery and this is OK, but you also need to remove the old configuration since it seems that AAA configuration remained on the device, you have to go to the rommon mode and rename the config archive, create another one with the old name and delete the first one (the one that was renamed).
