Cisco SX350X Combo Port

Hi Cisco Community,

I have cisco Sx350X-24-k9f,
On datasheet i see 20 10G SFP+ slots + 4 combo 10G copper/SFP+ plus 1
but physically i see 28 total (with sfp) , how much actually i can use the port simultaneously ?

Hi,

int SX350X-24F switch have below port sets.

1 . 20x 10G SFP+

2. 4x 10G copper/SFP+ combo

in physical switch you can see 28 ports because 20 of them are 10G slots and 4x 10G Combo ports (which have SFP+ port with respective Copper port to each). you can only use fiber or copper from combo ports and not both.

For ex. you can use as below for combo ports.

1. 4 x fiber links

2. 1 x fiber link and 3 copper links

3. 2 x fiber links and 2 copper links

etc.

maximum you can have 4 links for all 4 combo ports and not 8 simultaneously.
