Daisy Chaining Two SG300s

I am adding an SG300 to another SG300 using ports 9 and 10 as a trunk/lag.   Should I add the second as a switch/layer 2 instead of a router as my first switch was configured as a router/layer3?

If the Primary switch handle all Layer 3, then Just adding Layer 2 trunk to new switch is good enough.
