Hello,

I have an AccessPoint WAP 551 powered by PoE by a Switch SG300-10P. However, some time when I try to connect to the wifi, I have to make several attempts for the connection to be accepted.

Here are the AccessPoint WAP 551 connection logs:

Dec 31 2018 14:45:03    err   hostapd[5086]     trying to deauthenticate to station XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX, but not authenticated

Dec 31 2018 14:45:00    err   hostapd[5086]     trying to deauthenticate to station XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX, but not authenticated

Dec 31 2018 14:45:00    err   hostapd[5086]     trying to deauthenticate to station XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX, but not authenticated

Dec 31 2018 14:44:57    err   hostapd[5086]     trying to deauthenticate to station XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX, but not authenticated

Advised by a cisco forum, I disabled the MFP parameter. I looked the all parameters configuration, but I found nothing abnormal. I hope you have a solution, because I gave up (I am tired) ...

Thank you in Advance

We finally found the solution. By simply replacing the Cat5e UTP cable with a Cat5e SFTP.

I'm very disappointed for the support Cisco because this issue prevents us to work.

It's the last each to I buy a Cisco networking material, I think the Dell's network is better (pricing and software) than Cisco's.
So I will change all Cisco hardware to Dell.

Thank you to have confirmed this
