Firmware upgrade on an SLM2008

I have just attempted to load the latest firmware on an SLM2008, everything appeared to work as expected BUT, the switch is no longer pingable on its static IP doesn't appear to have attempted get an address via DHCP.  I have attempted power cycling the switch but it has made no difference.  The switch is still switching but I have no management any more.

Any advice on what to do next ?

Got hold of another SLM2008 and did a swap so I could do some fault finding.

Full factory reset on switch brought the management back to life on the default IP.  The firmware upgrade had succeeded, the switch had just lost its IP settings somehow.

Switch has now been successfully redeployed.
