Hi,
I have the following rather basic question, but google doesn't seem to help me any further here.
The situation is the following:
router <-> L3 switch (Cisco CBS 350) <-> servers/clients
router is on VLAN 192.168.255.x
servers and clients are on different VLAN's: 192.168.15.x and 192.168.16.x
All is working fine, the servers/clients have internet access etc...
Now, I want to do some basic PORT FORWARDING from to a specific server in one of my VLANS.
I would need to forward incoming traffic on port 1194 to server 192.168.15.4
Unfort, my router would only allow me to forward within the subnet of its own LAN, so that route doesn't get to the right server.
So, for example, my router has a static route from port 1194 to 192.168.255.1(which is the IP of the Cisco switch), but now I would need to forward this to the device 192.168.15.4.
I believe I should be able to do this in the switch, but can't find a way to do this. I couldn't find NAT rules in the help files.
Thanks for giving me a direction on how to achieve this.
Pieter
