Issues with SLM2048

Greeting all,

We are having issues with a SL2048. We are experiencing a lot of dropped connections and computer taking forever to get ips from dhcp or some times not at all. I've done some searching and seen that others have had this issue but there don't seem to be any solutions. Has anyone had this issue and found a solution?

I found the same problem in the 5 boxes we have. Firmware 2.0.0.8 did not solve the problem. Our workaround was to disable STP globally and on each port. In addition, configure each port as fastport. Finally, do not connect other Cisco Switch as a cascade with these boxes.

It is really a bad product.
