any kind soul can advise?

Hi,

What model is the switch? Is the device connected to the network, does it have network access, etc?

Is this issue happening on only 1 port or all ports of the switch?

SG500, happen to all the port, the device is connected to the network and have network access.

Hi,

Please change the web browser once and verify whether same issue is reflecting on the other web browser as well.

The present firmware version 1.4.1.3 on the mentioned SG500 Switch is very old so you may verify the status once after upgrading the firmware version 1.4.9.4 or above on that switch. Before upgrading the firmware please take a configuration back-up from that Switch.

In case after upgrading the firmware to 1.4.9.4 also you are facing this issue then you may factory reset the Switch once and accordingly verify the status.

Note: Factory reset the device will bring the default configuration on the Switch so it is recommended to keep the configuration back-up (startup& running configuration) from the Switch before resetting the Switch to factory default settings.

Also you need to reboot the Switch so that the newly upgraded firmware will take effect so you need to arrange the downtime accordingly.

After factory reset you may reload the configuration on the Switch.

I have other similar switch who are the same model and having the same ios version but only 1 is having this issue

Hi,

It might be the problem on that specific hardware however it is recommended to test the device once (for this situation) with the latest firmware and do a factory reset after that.

In case you need any assistance in upgrading the firmware on the mentioned Switch or resetting the Switch to factory default settings then you may open a service request with us by contacting our support center following  the below mentioned link…
