ping request timeout

hey every one

I am working on a sg300 switch that the interface VLAN 1 IP is 192.168.1.224 and the default gateway is 192.168.1.100.

the management IP of the switch is accessible from the ICT VLAN 15.

everything works ok but I have a virtual machine in VLAN 1 when I ping the sg300 from the virtual machine the ping on the VLAN 15 requests time out.

Hi,

Do you have inter-VLAN routing on between VLAN1 and VLAN15? Do you have any default route or static route for your VLAN 1 on the switch?

Check both and hope you will get an answer.
