I have a SWR 2048 switch that has started to make some noise - I suspect one of the fans is starting to go. It looks like the fans are from Sunon, 40mm x 40mm x 20mm, 3 pin, 12v.
Does anyone know the model number or a good source for a replacment fan?
Thanks

Michael, I believe this is a DC fan
I think this the model/spec that you need.

Hi Michael, unless you're certain the warranty has ended on the switch, I'd recommend to call the SBSC for a RMA. If you open the case, your warranty is void.
Here is the Sunon website if you're warranty has expired...

My warranty has long ended. All I need to do is replace a $10 fan. I did contact Cisco but they kept trying to sell me a new $1000 switch.
I am trying to find the correct replacement fan - which has been a challenge. I could find a fan that would fit, but would likely have to reconfigure the pin arrangement in the connector.
Which Sunon fan would work for this switch?
