SG200-50P Native VLAN mismatch!

Hi,

I am having an issue with Cisco Switch SG200-50p. IP Phones on Voice VLAN have connectivity, but PC on data vlan do not have connectivity. On the logs of the switch I see this error:

%CDP-W-NATIVE_VLAN_MISMATCH: Native VLAN mismatch detected on interface fa48.

Port 48 is trunk tagged toward the router (UC560). On the switch the Native VLAN is set to 1, same as on the router UC560.

this error starts occurring when we connected an old catalyst to the switch.

Any clue how can this be fixed?

Regards,

Bj

Is Vlan 1 your Data Vlan?

Can you post the configs from  both devices?

Thanks

Yes on the UCS560 I have Vlan 1 as Data Vlan

!
interface Vlan1
 ip address 192.168.10.1 255.255.255.0
 ip access-group 101 in
 ip nat inside
 ip virtual-reassembly in
!

Also on the switch it is Vlan 1 as Native Vlan.

Hi,

I fixed the issue.

It was set Vlan 1 as default on the switch, but it was changed on the port towards the router to PVID 4095??? It's strange how it changed to that vlan, and now it is impossible to put back to PVID 1. Attached you have a screen capture of the issue.

I manage to change the up-link port to another port to fix the issue.

The web Gui of the Sg200 is really crazy I don't like at all.

thnx,

Bj

Can you not edit the PVID and change it to Vlan 1?

If not, try changing it to a 'General' port instead of a Trunk as I think you can edit the Native Vlan on this type of port.

I agree, the GUI is hard work.
Its easier on the SG300 switches as you can SSH to them to configure via the CLI, unfortunately the SG200 is Web only I believe.

Yes I can edit and change PVID to VLAN 1, after I apply it gives the Success message but again it puts back the strange vlan number 4095, as you can see on the pic.

I will try the 'General' port option and see if it will work.

thanks,

Bj

I tried the General option and it changed the PVID to 1.

but now when tried to put the port back to Trunk it gives an error as on pic attached.

regards,

Bj
