I bought a new SG300-10 and got logged into it fine and updated the firmware to latest version...
Played with it for a day(various config settings etc) and all was grand
I powered it off and took it to site - switched it on and it obtained IP address - tried accessing the login page and all I get is this page
http://192.168.3.54/cs25c53de0/config/log_off_page.htm
Note that IP is obtained from DHCP
I cannot login - that page is all that will load - 3 browsers, all the same
I reset the switch to factory defaults - rebooted and accessed the default IP management page at 192.168.1.254 - exact same page
http://192.168.1.254/cs25c53de0/config/log_off_page.htm
What is wrong with this switch? Why is it displaying a logoff page instead of a login page?

Three different browsers - did you try a different machine?
Did you try the old "clear the cookies and history" trick in the browser?

Thanks Philip...if only I could think outside the box...
Different machine worked - the issue was actually Vipre Internet Security - I removed that from the issue machine(after seeing that another laptop could login fine) and it is working again now...
Thanks for the suggestion
