SG350X-48P FW: 2.4.5.71 %MNGINF-W-ACL: Management ACL drop packet received on interface User Defined Port 1 from 169.254.0.2 to 169.254.0.1 protocol 17 service Snmp

Hi,

I receive a lot of this kind of messages after the last FW upgrade.

There is a mgmt acl in place, so this is okay, but what is "interface User Defined Port 1"  and who is 169.254.0.2?

Thanks

Henri

Hello Henry,

169.254.0.2 is the second APIPA address

APIPA stands for 'Automatic Private IP Addressing'

https://learningnetwork.cisco.com/thread/66533

As for the packet is not enough information.

Hope it helps

Cheers,

Mike
