Hi all.

Do Cisco have any plan of supporting the SFP-10G-LRM module in there SG350X switches ? I need to make a 10G connection via an OM2 fiber, which is about 160 meters long.

Best regards,

Niels

Hi there,

from the SG350X quick start guide:

• The Cisco SFP+ 10G optical modules that are supported in the Cisco switches are: SFP-10G-SR, and SFP-10G-LR.

https://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/td/docs/switches/lan/csbms/350xseries/2_3/quick_start/guide/en-US/Cisco350xseries-QSG-en-US.pdf

It does not explicitly list the SFP-10G-LRM so it is unlikely to work.

cheers,

Seb.

Hi Seb.

Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, we will probably need to run a new OM4 fiber cable instead of the old OM2 cable.

Cheers,

Niels
