SG550X-24F SFP Modules

Hi everyone,

i want to buy a SG550X-24F to connect some Switches. The newer ones come with a SFP+ Uplinkport but there are also some with only SFP Port. My question is, can i use 1G SFP Tranceiver in the SG550X-24F or is it really SFP+ 10G exclusive?

Technically yes you can use both end same 1GB SFP Optic same to support -until the model says specific model only do 10GB uplink only.

Hi Freddy,

In addition to balaji note the SFP+ 10G ports on any of the SG/CBS series switches do support 1G SFP transceivers.
