SG550x port question

I am sure this is an easy answer but I can't really find an explanation anywhere.

We have 2 SG550x-42mp in stack mode as a ring. They are up and running and all is well. I have ports 1-48 on both switches in access mode (VLAN 2) and 49-50 in trunk mode carrying all VLAN's. Port 51 & 52 are used for the stack mode.

VLAN 1 is shutdown as we don't use it.

In the Gui, all ports show assigned as above

When I SSH into the stack and do a show VLAN, under VLAN 1 I see no tagged ports, and the following in the untagged ports column:

te1/0/1-4, DV
te2/0/1-4,
gi3/0/1-48,
te3/0/1-4,
gi4/0/1-48,
te4/0/1-4,
gi5/0/1-48,
te5/0/1-4,
gi6/0/1-48,
te6/0/1-4,
gi7/0/1-48,
te7/0/1-4,
gi8/0/1-48,
te8/0/1-4,Po1-32

gi1/0/1-48,
gi2/0/1-48

Since I only have 2 switches, I figured I would just see the following since we only have 2 switches in the stack:

VLAN 2 untagged ports

gi1/0/1-48,
gi2/0/1-48

VLAN 2 Tagged Ports

te1/0/1-4,
te2/0/1-4,

I don't understand the entries for the other port identifications on VLAN 1 such as:

gi3/0/2-48,
te3/0/1-4,

Since we only have 2 switches.

See attachment for results of show VLAN command

Can someone clear up the confusion?

Hi,

Can you please execute show stack, show stack configuration and show stack links details commands and share?

Regards,

Martin

Config attached.

BTW, even though I have both stack ports cabled, it shows chain topology and not ring.

Hello,

At first sight, everything looks fine for the stak configuration and the other VLANs following the syntax for interface names in stacking mode:
{<port-type>[ ][<unit-number>/]<slot-number>/<port-number>} |{port-channel | po | }[ ]<port-channel-number> |{tunnel | tu}[ ]<tunnel-number> | vlan[ ]<vlan-id>  where "unit-number" is the Unit in stack

We will check with the corresponding team if there is an exception for the port identification in a stack when the default VLAN1 is shut down and will get back to you.

Regards,

Martin
