SLM2008 Mangement vlan

Hi

I have tried to config my slm2008, but it doesent work

I try to connect my slm2008 from a trunk port ( port 1) with my mangement vlan 909

But i doesent work ? some proposal

This i my config:

Port 1     vlan 909,900,901,908

Port 2     vlan 900

Port 3     vlan 900

Port 4     vlan 908

Port 5     vlan 901

Port 6     vlan 901

Port 7     vlan 901

Port 8     vlan 901

Robert,

The trunk port you have setup on port 1, what is it going to?

Does it know of vlan 909?

As long as that device and a layer 3 device knows of vlan 909 it should allow connection.

You have a default gateway so as long as 172.16.1.1 knows of the vlans you should be good.
