I would like to connect a Sonicpoint to an installed Cisco SRW224G4P switch. Sonicpoints support multiple SSIDs, each on a VLAN. One VLAN is Corporate (20) another Guest (30). Guest pointing outward to internet only via firewall rules. The switch simply has to transport the propriateary Sonicwall protocol (SDP?) over the VLAN, along with DHCP packets, as the DHCP on the VLANS must come from the Sonicwall rather than on the LAN server.
The SonicPoint is connected to port e24, the Sonicwall X0 interface to port e12.
I can see the sonicpoint is operational on the sonciwall, so some communication is happeneing across the switch. Addtionally, lapstops can see the SSIDs, and connect in a 'mimited' fashion. IPCONFIG shows no IP address (though inexplicably, it seems a microsfot update occured over night with this setup to the laptop) DHCP service is set up on the sonciwall fo reach of the VLANs.
FOLLOWING IS VLAN SETUP on the SRW224G4P Switch:
