Stacking requirements

I have a Cisco SG500-52P along with an older SGE-2010P, am I correct that in order to stack they must be the same series?

Hi Sean, yes these do not interoperate. They must be the same series

Hi, you can connect two similar switches in a stack though. The stacking requirements of SGE and SG 500 are given in the below admin guides

respectively.
