Technical Support Required - CISCO SG300 - 28PP 28-Port-Gigabit PoE + Managed Switch

We have purchased the CISCO SG300 - 28PP 28-Port - Gigabit PoE + Managed Switch and we required you are valuable support for the below items,

 

• Please provide the relevant CISCO model’s which can support to Enable/Disable the Power for the particular port (0-28) by using SNMP communication.

 

• For the model “CISCO SG300 - 28PP 28-Port - Gigabit PoE + Managed Switch”, we could not able to identify the relevant MIB’S to Enable/Disable the power for the particular port by using SNMP communication. But by login into CISCO Web User Interface we shall able to Enable/ Disable the power for the particular port (Port Management àPoE àSettings àGE5 àPoE Administrative Status). Please share the MIB information to do the operation using SNMP Protocol.

 

• Please provide the step by step instruction to enable the SNMP “Traps & Informs” in the CISCO SG300 - 28PP 28-Port - Gigabit PoE + Managed Switch and how to view the “Traps & Informs” message/alert in the Windows PC. We have made the below steps to enable & view the TRAPS & INFORMS in the CISCO device,

  1. By logged into CISCO Switch Web UI and enabled the TRAP Settings in the CISCO SNMP menu.

  2. Configured the Engine ID, Views, Groups, Users and community.

  3. Configured the Notification Recipients SNMPv 1.2 & SNMPv 3.

  4. By using network monitoring tool, we have monitored the port no. 162 to receive the Trap/Inform notifications, but no information was received on this port.

  5. Kindly suggest to implement the same further.
