The system is unable to boot automatically. The BOOT environment variable needs to be set to a bootable image.

Hey Guys

I need some help, in my venture in trying to learn switches i flashed my whole switch :( 

I am now getting this error

The system is unable to boot automatically.  The BOOT
environment variable needs to be set to a bootable
image.

I downloaded the c2950-i6q4l2-tar.121-22.EA14.tar for the switch but im unclear on how to load that the the catalyst 2950

Hi,

It looks like the image is not in flash memory. Do you know where you downloaded the image to? Once we know this, we can figure out what boot statement you need to make in order to make it boot properly.
