Hello            I have a stack of 6 switches and I want to add another over the gbit connector using fiber.

I already connected but I can acces the network from the new switch.

I don't have any issues on my Stack all resources are available

Do I need to do some special setup or connection to enable this?

Can be stacked like the others? I already usen the 2 stacking port can i Add another switch?

Thanks,

Hi Saulo, you may have up to 8 units in the stack. Just make sure the new box is on the same firmware then you may add to a free stack port

Thanks for your reply,

My unit is already using ports 24,48 can I connect another stack on 23 or 47 (23,47 are the same of ge3,ge4?).

or do I need to daisychain with another gbit using port GE2,GE1 ?

Thanks,

I believe the switch has only 2 stack ports, 24/48 are combo port to the ge1/ge2. you'd have to hang off a new switch somewhere else.
