unable to remove 3850 from switch stack

Hello, I originally had 2 3850 12S in a two stack switch using smart stack cables.  I separated the stack, removed the cable deleted the switch2 provision statement and the vlan.dat, did a write erase.

Now when I reboot the second switch I have Gi2/0/1 - 12 showing instead of Gi1/0/1 - 12.

How can I get this back to the defaults of Gi1/0/1 - 12?

The command "switch 2 renumber 1" can only be used in ENABLE mode (and not configuration mode).

use the switch renumber command, that will get you there.

Run the following from enable mode -

switch 2 renumber 1

You will need to reboot for it to take effect.

This does not work.  "No such resource".

Any other ideas?

Thanks for the reply

What switches do you have provisioned still?

Sh switch detail

Sh run | inc switch

Switch 2
