Using LAG trunk between two SG220's

I have two SG220's connected via a single 1Gb trunk.  I'm interested in using Link Aggregation to replace this trunk with one that uses 2 or 3 1Gb connections for increased bandwidth.

From past experiments with LAG, I realize that the hash algorithm used by the LAG mechanism determines which 1Gb link to use.  As I understand it, this hash is based on the IP or MAC addresses of the source and destination.  As such, LAG doesn't really help if its the same two systems talking to each other because the hash always drives the traffic to the same 1Gb link.

Question: In a switch-to-switch LAG connection, is the hash going to be using the IP/MAC addresses of (a) the two switches or (b) the original sender and final destination?

Thanks in advance!
