Hi Eash,

Datasheet contains all warranty information: http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/switches/small-business-smart-switches/data_sheet_c78-610061.html

You may also try this one: http://www.cisco-servicefinder.com/WarrantyFinder.aspx

or simply call Small Business Center: http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/web/tsd-cisco-small-business-support-center-contacts.html

Regards,

Aleksandra

I have a warranty question as well on an SG300-20 which I'm planning to start an online chat on with Cisco tomorrow during their business hours.

The warranty finder states it is a limited lifetime hardware warranty or five years after EOS.  Either way, I'm still good on this part as far as I can tell.  What I don't understand is the technical assistance from TAC for only year from date of purchase.  It also states it as I started the online chat process:

https://supportforums.cisco.com/community/4841/online-chat-support

"Telephone and online chat support are available with standard warranty for one year from date of purchase, and can be extended to three years with the Small Business Support Service."

The switch was purchased on December 12th, 2013.  So how do I make use of the Next Business Day hardware replacement or any part of the lifetime/EOS hardware warranty if I'm not allowed to contact TAC anymore?  Do I just contact them and instead of getting any technical assistance just ask for a replacement?

I guess I'll find out tomorrow but this has been eating at me all day and I'd be sorely disappointed to find out I can't get any support on a switch that started to break after less than a year of use.

Hi,

You can always contact TAC team especially for any hardware related issues however with configuration assistance they are restricted to 1 year free of charge assistance. There is still a possibility of purchasing Small Business contract when device has hardware warranty:

I hope this helps.
