What is the most current model(s) of the 300 Series switches??

I need the smallest 1GbE PoE switch available in this line...is an 8-port switch available??

Are there newer 100M/Fast Ethernet switches available in this line??

We need them with the newest PoE support and if possible support for both old and new 801.xxx PoE standards.

I have the data sheet web page but I need to know which model number(s) to look for in the list.

What is the difference between the different flavors here??

They both offer 62 or 124 watts power.

What does 'Maximum PoE' mean?????????

SG300-10P has 62w of power but does not support 802.3at PoE+.

SG300-10PP has 62w of power and does support 802.3at PoE+.

SG300-10MP has 124w of power but does not support 802.3at PoE+.

SG300-10MPP has 124w of power and does support 802.3at PoE+.

Essentially they are the same switch but support different total power amounts and the model will depend on whether they support PoE+/.

The -10P model will cost less than the -10MPP model as can provide half the amount of PoE and does not support PoE+. Other than that, they are the same switch spec wise according to the data sheet.

PoE+ is the ability of the switch to give more than the 15.4w of Power to a device that requires more than this.

Some Access Points need more than 15.4w, PTZ CCTV cameras also tend to need more than this, hence PoE+.

The 802.3at (PoE+) standard is 25.5 watts.

I don't understand your second question, nothing is added to PoE, you just get twice the amount with the -MP and -MPP switches.
