Will the cisco sf-300-24p be able to do vtp?

Will the cisco sf-300-24p be able to do vtp?  I

need to connect it to a cisco 3560G, It would be nice if it get all the info it needs from VTP.

If not does anyone know how to work around this limit?

Also any idea when the next firmware release is going to be released?

Hi Pete,

300 series switches as well as the Catalyst switches can do  Generic Vlan Registration Protocol (GVRP).

300 series however cannot do VLAN Trunking protocol (VTP)..sorry, may just have to stick with the Catalyst range.

GVRP is the standards-based version of VTP. Both Catalyst and 300 series supports GVRP, so just enable the same things on both sides of the link.
