Cisco SPA502G incoming phones calls don't work

Hello,

I have set up my IP-phone. Now I can make phone calls and also I receive incoming calls.

 

However there is one problem with incoming calls:

After some minutes after the last outgoing call my phone is not reachable for incoming calls anymore.

 

Case 1:

I make an outgoing call and after that call someone calls me -> works without problems

 

Case 2:

I make an outgoing call and then I don't use my phone for a while. If then someone want to call me the phone doens't ring. And the person who is calling doesn't hear a ringing sound after dialing.

So my phone is not reachable.

 

Have you any ideas what the problem could be?

Despite you didn't described your network environment, I'm almost sure it's either NAT or statefull firewall issue. Configure NAT Keep Alives (ExtN tab of WWW UI, NAT Settings). Ask your local network administrator if you don't know what the NAT/statufull firewall is.

Ich have activated "NAT Keep Alive" now.

Now I will wait a while and try it out then.
