Cannot get WAP121 to work with SG100D-08P switch...why?

If I connect my WAP121 directly to my router, it works just fine.  But when I connect it to my SG100D-08P switch I can see it but when I connect, I get "limited connectivity" and it cannot "identify".  The switch is PoE and everything looks to be working fine, but I have tried it both PoE and regular thru the switch; nothing works.  Can't understand why if I connect it cat-cable going into the switch it works fine, but when I coonect it thru the switch, I have problems.  I thought this switch was unmanaged, but something is going on.  Any ideas?

Nathan, the default state should be fine. Try to upgrade/flash the firmware and reset the unit and try again.

Hi Nathan, if you connect a computer to the switch, does it obtain an IP address and have no problems? If a computer is working fine, then connect the AP and see what happens.

If the computer doesn't work, it may be the uplink between the switch and the router. Try a different wire between the switch and router or even different ports of the switch and router.

The switch is unmanaged, just a piece of hardware so it will be either a wire problem or port problem.

Yes, other computers connected to the switch work fine.  If I take one of those cables and attach to the WAP, again I can see it but get "limited connectivity" and it will not identify.  If I connect the WAP to the main cable suppling the switch, it works fine.  This is the case with all the ports on the switch.  I have another switch (exact same type) and it does the same thing with it too.  Is there some type of setting in the WAP that won't let it work through the switch?

What about the PoE...are they compatible?  It's a stumper.
