CBW140AC and WAP150

Hi,

I recently purchased a CBW140AC to replace a WAP150, as per compatibility matrix;

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/wireless/small-business-wireless-access-points/eos-eol-notice-c51-744838.html

How do I get the CBW140AC to join the mesh network that already exists among the WAP150 s.

Thanks.

Hello,

Please note the CBW100 series wireless access points can mesh only with other CBW100/200 series APs and CBW100 series mesh extenders. They need to be the same product family. The older WAPs do not support mesh, these are older platforms running different code and you can't build a mesh network with the new CBW APs.

Here is a short guide of how to add AP/Mesh Extender to the WLAN:

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/smb/wireless/CB-Wireless-Mesh/2057-2058-add-mesh-extenders.pdf

Thanks
