Hi there,

got the WAP371-A-K9 about a year ago and expended the network to 3 more WAP371-E-K9 (couldnt find anywhere the A-k9....)

the representative confirmed that they can be clustered together. but so far i can cluster the 3 "E"s without the A one....

Running the latest version of firmware, and it was the same case with the old firmware versions too (just recently found that Community....).

All Connected by SG350X-24MP over PoE...

Any ideas?

Dear Customer,

The WAP371-E-K9 and WAP371-A-K9 are meant for different markets: A is for United States, Canada, Mexico, while the E version is for Europe.

There's a reason why they can't cluster and that is the allowed wireless channels across the globe: US uses channels 1 through 11, while Europe allows 1 through 13.

You can, however, use both access points in standalone mode without any issues.

I bought an WAP 371 a while ago. Now, that im going to create a cluster, I'm realizing:

The label on the device sais: WAP371-E-K9 (Which it should be).

But the management ui sais under system summary: WAP371-A-K9.

What happened here?

Dear Customer,

Please send me as a private message the following:

1. The serial number of your access point

2. Screenshots of the label and the summary page within the gui

3. Your Cisco ID

Thank you!
