WAP121 can't set up

I have finally managed to install Cisco FindIT to locate the IP address of the WAP121 attached to my network via ethernet, and now when I try and connect to the IP address I just get time out messages and took too long to respond.

 

Can anyone help????

Hi, 

My name is Iliya Gatsev from Cisco Technical Support Team.

 

I suppose that your PC and the WAP121 AP are not in the same network.

Please check what is the IP address of your PC and what address is showing the FindIT tool.

Yes they are both on the same network both connected to the router by
Ethernet cable

IP address of Cisco device is 192.168.1.245 (this is what is showing on
Cisco findit)

IP address of computer is 192.168.0.25

Hi, 

you should change the IP address of your PC to 192.168.1.25 for example.

Won’t let me it says chosen IP address is out of range
