WAP200 as repeater for WRVS4400N v2?

I have a customer who has a WRVS4400N v.2 wireless-N router who needs to be able to extend the range. Can the WAP200 wireless-G router be used as a repeater for this situation? I am unable to run cables to the location where I would like to place the repeater, but do have power available there.

This does work as long as you set the wireless security mode to WEP or None.
