WAP321 Firmware 1.0.6.2

Updated the firmware last night. It seems stable on the WiFi.

The only thing we have noticed is that using Internet Explorer 11 we can no longer access the web interface over HTTPS. Using Wireshark I have noted the following run of events:

163 14:07:30.668786000 10.0.0.227 10.0.0.24 TLSv1.2 61 Alert (Level: Fatal, Description: Bad Record MAC)

164 14:07:30.669297000 10.0.0.24 10.0.0.227 TCP 54 51948→443 [FIN, ACK] Seq=347 Ack=700 Win=64768 Len=0

165 14:07:30.670391000 10.0.0.227 10.0.0.24 TLSv1.2 61 Alert (Level: Fatal, Description: Unexpected Message)

166 14:07:30.672678000 10.0.0.227 10.0.0.24 TLSv1.2 61 Alert (Level: Fatal, Description: Unexpected Message)

I can get at the web interface over HTTPS if I use Opera though. A bit strange.

Can anyone confirm the above? On our domain we disable SSL 3.0 in IE by group policy but I don't think that this would be causing it.

I just upgrade to 1.0.6.2 and had the same problem. I can access the WAP321 via FIrefox but not IE-11 or Microsoft Edge ( running windows 10). I have not yet tried on a Windows 7 IE system.

Hello J_M_Sc0tt,

Thank you for using the Small Business Support Community!

Since you can get into the WAP via Opera over HTTPS, it sounds like the HTTPS server on the WAP is running fine. I've been able to replicate your problem: I can connect through HTTPS with Firefox, but not with IE.

Have you tried connecting over regular HTTP with IE? That may be your only workaround without disabling your browser's security settings.

Best,

Taylor
