WAP321 Problems

Hi i have a problem with my WAP321.

Sometime in the day, i loose connectivity to the network.

My laptop shows that i'm associated with the access point. I have an ip address on the interface, but i'm not able to reach anything on my network.

I have to disable my wifi and reenable it to make it works again.

The problem is not only on my laptop but on several laptop, and failures don't happen at the same time.

When the problem occurs, i'm able to connect to the web interface of the access point using a cabled computer.

When i check the associated client, i see my laptop with an uptime between 00:02 and 00:15

After some time i see in the log :

wlan0: IEEE 802.11 STA b8:f6:b1:19:ee:c9 deauthed from BSSID 3c:08:f6:7a:33:00 reason 4: Disassociated due to inactivity

And also :

My name Eric Moyers. I am an Engineer in the Small Business Support Center.

I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue. Please go to the Wireless-Bandwidth Utilization tab and disable Bandwidth Utilization and as a last modification please go to the Wireless-Radio tab and under Legacy Rate Sets supported and basic disable rates 1, 2, and 5.5. Then change fixed multicast from auto to 54.

If this does not improve your issue, please call our support center and open a case so that one of our engineers can work directly with you.

I am assuming from the wording of your post you only have one device. If you actually have other WAP321's please let me know. There is another step that we can look at.

Hi,

I have a total of 3 WAP321 in a cluster (with single point setup enabled). But i'm not sure if the problem occurs on the other.

Thanks
