I have 5x WAP4410N Cisco access points, the wireless is not responding to join request from wireless clients and i can only access the admin page from the LAN side.

reboot does not work the only way to make it accept join requests is by changing parameters in the AP and save it, it will work for few hours then stops again.

please help in identifying the issue, also i cant seem to be able to open a TAC case.

Hi Thabet,

It would be interesting, just for diagnostic purposes,  to upload of the current firmware which is;

1.  2.0.5.3 for WAP4410N V02 (version 2) and

2.  reset the unit to factory defaults, via the GUI.

If that fails to resolve the connectivity issue, then try opening  a case via;

www.cisco.com/go/sbsc

hope this proves useful.

Thabet,

See my new post in the forum how we resolved this issue for our small office that had 6 x WAP4410N with exactly the same issues you have been experiencing.

We struggled for 12 months to find a resolution and as you will read resolved this once and for all.

Kindest regards,

Dale Bentley
