WAP571 VLAN and wrong DHCP address

Hello.
We have this issue on several computers and handheld devices, not all!
Issue:
When connecting to a SSID with a tagged VLAN “200”, devices receive IP addresses from DHCP in the default VLAN “1”, not the DHCP scope assigned to VLAN “200”. When setting static IP address, all is good – so device is placed onto the correct VLAN “200”.

I am aware of that VAN needs to be configured on every AP, like this community article describes: “WAP571 VLAN issue”.
I have a feeling it is the captive portal messing this up, but CP is disabled on every AP.

Hello Eirik,

The port on the switch should in trunk mode and should contain both VLANs - 1 and 200.

Check it.

Hope it helps

Cheers,

Mike

Hello
Thanks for your response. The switch ports are trunked.
I read that the WAP571 should be able to handle 32 VLAN's to SSID. I only seem to get one, in addition to the default VLAN 1.
I can reconfigure my first VLAN number and it allways works as expected. The second VLAN I add does not..
