Collector upload for FEX switches

I have a large number of FEX switches in my environment and I am trying to get them added to the collector.  I tried scanning the master switch several times but it wont pick the FEX switch beyond that parent switch. 

they do not have mgmt IPs they just look like additional switch ports on the switch.

As long as Parent switch added to smart collector - it will automatically collect FEX

since FEX is Module as per nexus parent concern.

i thought it would as well but i do not see any 2k switches in my inventory.
