I do not know details of the claims process or how it links to your CCO User ID. However setting up a CCO User ID is relatively simple. In order to set up a CCO User ID please go to www.cisco.com and follow these steps:
Click on “Register” in upper right corner of page
Select language preference from drop down menu
Complete required login information (create your User ID and password) - Please use your business email address when setting up your profile to ensure proper security and easy of profile management
Complete required information (name, company, address, email, phone)
Select your Q&As for security purposes. In order to create your login name and password you will be required to add two security questions and answers
Use questions and answers you can easily remember if needed
In case you forget your password the system will ask the security questions you selected to validate your identity
Review Cisco Privacy and Product Information details and click “Submit”
A confirmation email will be sent to the email account you registered - Follow the instructions in the email you receive from Cisco to complete your Cisco.com ID creation
