CSPC inventory uploading failed

Hi All,

i install a fresh CSPC collector (2.5) and when trying to upload the inventory i'm getting fail status.

the server is connecting to the internet via Proxy.

T-Shoot I've done:

1. verify that there isn't any deny packets in the FW.

2. verify that the proxy doesn't block.

i must mention that this is not my first installation but still i want all over the installation guide and view all the topics in the support.

after viewing some tips in the support I verify and done those changes after saw in the support :

1. adding to the hosts file the CSPC server IP Address.

2. verified the connectivity to CISCO PORTAL (72.163.7.138) with WGET and its OK.

How are you trying to run the upload from the collector? Where do you see the fail status?

I've tried in two different ways:

1. using the run collection profile marking the upload to server.

2. using run upload profile.

the failed are in the backend stage.

Hi Dawit,

Is your proxy modifying the certificate? Our upload server won't accept the connection if it does.

"WARNING: certificate common name “concsoweb-prd.cisco.com” doesn't match requested host name “72.163.7.113”."

Also, what are the contents of your hosts file now that you've modified it?
