Duplicate host name

I have problem with duplicate host names. 1778 devices has hostname 250-AP03, which is not customers real host name, they have different ip-addresses, and their real hostnames doesnt show in portal. Most of devices are powers, SFPs and like that. I think chassis has real hostnames.

I have faced this problem at least two different customer. What can I do?

Thanks for joining the WebEx session today, sharing the summary of the troubleshooting done:

• Statics IP's were assigned to the devices in the network
• Duplicate devices were showing the SNTC portal
• Unmanaged the devices on CSPC GUI
• Discovered the devices again and ran collection for the devices
• Upload was successfully showing on the SNTC portal
• Devices were showing correct hostname on the SNTC portal now.

The devices were now showing the correct hostname with their IP addresses.
