Group devices by service

Is there a way to group devices based on the services they provide? For example, we have a group of routers providing Internet Service to our customers. I want to mark these 5 devices as Internet. This is to ensure we apply Smart Net appropriately to these devices and the money to be paid for the Smart Net comes from the appropriate bucket of funds. 

I looked at segments but once assigned to a user, that is all they can see. I want to maintain global visibility while reporting on devices in segments.

Any suggestions?

Hi Charlie,

You can create a new segment for the devices according to your requirement on the basis of following criteria:

1> Host Name

2> IP Address

3> SysName

And then you can give access to all the users you want in order to maintain global visibility while reporting on devices in segments.
