Hi There,

CSPC doesn't collect serial numbers for IP Phone directly.

It gets the MAC Address from call manager via SNMP and sends that to the SNTC portal which then converts MAC Address to Serial Number.

If you have MAC Address collected and the serial number still does not show up on the Portal, that means we were not able to find this serial number in our system.

If you send me a private message with your Customer Name/Inventory name, and details of IP Phones, I can take a closer look at the data.

Regards,

Suchita

Hi Suchita,
Thanks for answer.

On SNTC Portal, the failed upload tab show this manage: "[MAC Address] CP-8845-K9=,CP-8845-W-K9= FALLOUT REASON: Input Processor:MAC convertion not found"

Hi,

Please provide Suchita with the information requested above:

  • your Customer Name/Inventory name
  • details of IP Phones

Send this via private message by hovering over her name in the above post, then click Send Message in the popup. She can then review the data.

Thanks!
Cheri
