Hi,
My Cisco AM directed me to ask for assistance here.
Thanks.

Hi Joe,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
Have you tried to use the self on boarding tool? It should help you obtaining the DA access?

Hi,
Could you confirm that address? It doesn't work for me.
"ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED"
Thanks.

Hi Joe,
I will check this, maybe this tool is not available to public. I will consult this with our product management and get back to you. If this tool is not available yet, than I can help you to create a Delegated Admin by raising an internal case.
regards,
Rafael

Joe,
Is there a button named "Go Proactive"?
By the way - please see this website, it has all steps which you would need to register yourself to the CSAM and SNTC contract: https://supportforums.cisco.com/document/12566021/new-smart-net-total-care

Hi,
"Go Proactive" is there. I can't click on that text, though. There is a button labeled "Register" under that text. When I click on that, it takes me to a page that says "It appears that you already have access to Smart Net Total Care Portal" and then it redirects me to the Total Care portal.
Presumably, if I didn't already have access to the portal, I'd have an opportunity to nominate myself as the DA during my registration.
Thanks.

Joe,
I see that you are registered as Customer Administrator for the SNTC 3.X version.
This has happened because most probably you have had access to the SNTC 1.X portal. During the migration process, you CCO (SNTC) Customer Administrator account was migrated to the SNTC 3.X portal.
This means, that you can log in to the SNTC 3.X portal: https://tools.cisco.com/smartservices/
(SNTC) Customer Administrator is a role, which can be assigned by the Delegated Administrator.
Delegated Administrator is a role in Cisco Services Access Management tool, and it allows the nominee to assign SNTC roles, such as Customer Administrator, Customer User, CBR Administrator, CBR User or even additional Delegated Administrators.
Let me check, what are the options available to you, and get back shortly with the answer.
regards,
Rafal

Joe,
Since you are a Customer Admin in the 3.x portal you can open a TAC case to ask to become the DA for your company. Here's the link to a slide set that gives you the steps to create the TAC case and how you accept the nomination when you get the notification.
Let us know if you have any further questions.

Hi,
We've had a TAC case open for this since September 9th. Our last update from them is that they were working on it on September 30th.
Thanks

Hi Joe,
It is important to provide the engineers who are working on the case following details:
- CCO ID for which DA has to be created;
- CR Party name of your company (it is shown in the SNTC Portal in the upper left corner of the website);
- CR Party number is a good to have;
- Please inform the engineers, that you already have a SNTC role - Customer Administrator which was migrated from SNTC 1.X to SNTC 3.X, and that the self-onboarding tool does not work for you.
By providing all these information, the engineers, will know, that in your case, the self-onboarding tool will not work, as you already have the role assigned.
After all this information our team should be able to provide you with the DA role in CSAM.
regards,
Rafael

Hi,
The CCO Id you provided appears to be a shared account. We require that the delegated administrator is a real person that works for the customer company and not a common shared account. Can you kindly find the right person within your company to become the delegated administrator and ask that person to register by going to the landing page and click on "Register".
Thanks,
Aravind

Joe,
Can you please try accessing the first or second link?

Hi,
I'm able to access https://www.cisco.com/web/smartservices/sntc.html. When I select "register", it redirects me to the portal. In the portal, I don't see any way to nominate a delegated administrator. https://ssueap-dev.cloudapps.cisco.com/ssueap/ does not open for me.
Thanks.
